Course Objectives The aim of the course is to learn the immunological methods based on antigen antibody interaction.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain general concepts about immunology.
  • Describe the concepts of antigen and antibody.
  • Explain immunological qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Explain immune response to infectious agents.
  • Define the working principles of immunological methods.
Course Description This course covers general information about immunology, antigen antibody concepts, cellular and humoral immune response, natural and acquired immunity, vaccines, agglutination, precipitation, neutralization, radioimmunological, enzyme immunological and immunofluorescence tests.
